Our “November” outing was on Saturday, October 28th. John Rivers hosted us in Northeast Harbor to practice the techniques he shared with us in his October meeting presentation: The Art and Techniques of Bird Photography.
Photographers met at the town dock by the boat ramp at 9:30 am and divided up according to interest to photograph gulls as they gathered and dropped mussels to open them for food, seabirds in Northeast Harbor, or backyard birds at John’s feeders.
A simple sandwich lunch (thank you, John and Carol!) followed and we loaded our pictures onto John’s computer to take a look at our work and get some tips, suggestions, and of course, compliments! Thanks for a great outing, John!
