Our November 2019 outing was at the John Williams Boat Company in Hall Quarry. The John Williams Boatyard is nestled in a former quarry site on the edge of Somes Sound. This Boatyard offers repair, restoration and storage of mostly wooden boats and has a reputation for fine craftsmanship. The MDI Photo Club had access to the entire boatyard including storage areas. We were able to capture unusual images of wooden boats in their winter home. It was a chilly day but we had excellent attendance!
