Our Summer assignment this year is to submit up to eight thematically
similar photographs for our September 10th meeting. We are encouraged to
explore our artistic vision and capture a cohesive collection of images that are
compelling enough to be displayed together in a gallery setting. Your theme can
be as broad or as narrow as you wish. It can be a continuation of an old theme
or something new to you. Have fun!
This challenge is inspired by the ongoing MDI Photo Club exhibit at Birch
Bay Village with the hopes that some of our collections will end up gracing the
walls there as we continue changing that exhibit in the future. If you haven’t seen
the Birch Bay exhibit yet…….you should.
