Who can participate:
All high school students that attend MDI High School or live on MDI
What kind of photos and prizes:
- Submissions must be original photos created and edited solely by the student
- Any subject is fine, so long as it is tasteful (determined by the judging committee)
- Any camera is fine, including mobile devices
- Any post-processing edits and manipulation are acceptable
- Three prizes: 1st ($75), 2nd ($50), and 3rd ($25) place
How to enter:
- Free: there is no entry fee
- Email ONE digital image to: contest@mdiphotoclub.org
- jpeg format, 1500 pixels on the long side
- Include:
- Image Title
- Contact Information: name, address, phone, email
- School Information: name (or homeschool), grade
When should I do something:
- May 13: Submission deadline
- May 19: Winners provide high-res images (jpg files)
- June 3: Awards presented at the MDI Photo Club Exhibit (5-7 pm)
Where are the photos displayed:
- All submitted photos will be on the MDI Photo Club website
- The winning photos will be printed & displayed at the MDI Photo Club Exhibit
- At the Northeast Harbor Library, 1 Joy St, Northeast Harbor, ME
- June 1st through June 30th, Opening reception June 3rd @ 5-7 pm
