Our January outing will be on Saturday January 29th at 1pm at the Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s Babson Creek Preserve in Somesville (https://www.mcht.org/preserve/babson-creek/)  This 36-acre preserve features meadows, salt marsh, and a small wooded area that attracts wildlife throughout the year. The erratic and the tide sweeping under the bridge are fascinating. We’ll also have the opportunity to photograph MCHT’s office building, which has an unusual architectural style and their barn and gardens. Parking is available at the MCHT office parking lot (east side of Rt. 102, just north of the light in Somesville) and by their barn and garden (west side of Rt. 102, near opposite of their headquarters building). Please be careful crossing the busy highway!
