Our November outing was on Thursday, November 20th at John Williams Boatyard in Hall Quarry at 8am. A member of the Boatyard Staff provided an overview and tour of the extensive buildings and grounds where we captured images of works in progress, boats tucked away for the winter, and unusual vistas of the Somes Sound. Club members also practiced their portrait work, capturing workers busy with winter repairs and renovations.
This visit to the Boatyard includes sharing the morning coffee break with the Boatyard workers and Office Members. Nancy is providing juice and SWH Café’s famous sticky buns.
