Our February outing was to the Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s Babson Creek Preserve in Somesville (https://www.mcht.org/preserve/babson-creek/) on Saturday February 26th. The weather cooperated beautifully this time! This 36-acre preserve features meadows, salt marsh, and a small wooded area that attracts wildlife throughout the year. The erratic and the tide sweeping under the bridge are fascinating. We had the opportunity to photograph MCHT’s office building, which has an unusual architectural style and their barn and gardens.
