The MDI Photo Club was privileged to visit with Judy Goldstein, Chair of the Board of the Somes Pond Center, who provided a guided tour of her late brother’s arts and crafts collection. We were in for a treat as her late brother, Jonathan Stein, created a collection that documents his eye for beautiful Maine crafts including furniture, pottery, rugs, and textiles. The artful placement of the works is particularly important in relation to the architecture of the house and the landscape surrounding it. As an added bonus, we visited beautiful moss & sculpture gardens on the property.
